On August 27th and 28th, the SwimStrait 2024 brings a unique and thrilling open-water experience to life.
Organized by Swimming Travel, this annual event invites swimmers to cross the legendary Strait of Messina, linking Sicily and Calabria in a stunning natural setting.
For over a decade, this event has been a favorite among swimming enthusiasts from around the world. The 3.5 km course through the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea offers a challenging yet rewarding adventure. While it’s not a competitive race, the swim represents a personal achievement for every participant, who will navigate the mythical waters of Scylla and Charybdis.
