Starting Saturday, October 12th at 5:30 PM, FORO G gallery in Ganzirri (Messina) will host ARCANA, the highly anticipated solo exhibition by emerging artist Michela Magazzù, curated by Roberta Guarnera.
The exhibition is part of the 20th Contemporary Art Day promoted by AMACI, offering a profound exploration into the mysteries of existence, the body, and the unconscious.
ARCANA investigates the magical act of existence, emphasizing the vulnerability of the flesh and its connection to the mind. Through oil pastels and a compelling charcoal and soot triptych, Magazzù’s work addresses themes of illness, decay, and the fragility of life. Drawing inspiration from texts such as The Eye and the Spirit by Merleau-Ponty and Psychomagic by Jodorowsky, the exhibition fuses traditional beliefs with contemporary thought, creating a dialogue between the mystical and the corporeal.
