Discover the Power of Community through Art at The Bunch Festival Messina 2024 

From August 6-8, 2024, the vibrant and picturesque setting of Fondazione Horcynus Orca in Torre Faro, Messina, will host "The Bunch Festival Messina 2024". This year’s theme, "Nessun uomo è un’isola" ("No man is an island"), aims to address the feelings of isolation and fragmentation often brought about by modern globalized and digitalized societies. Through a rich tapestry of artistic performances, workshops, and community discussions, the festival seeks to foster a sense of community and shared humanity.

Event Highlights

• Performances and Workshops: Over three days, attendees can experience a variety of performances including dance, theater, music, and art exhibitions. Additionally, several workshops will be available, although some may require a participation fee.
• Community Engagement: On August 8 at 4:00 PM, a panel discussion titled "Facimu na nassa" ("Let's make a network") will bring together local organizations such as Farisusu, Pro Loco Capo Peloro, Wind of Change, Messina Attiva, PuliAmo Messina, Festa Nera, Slow Food, and others to discuss community needs and collaborative solutions.

Festival Mission

The Bunch Festival, originally started by a collective of artists in Biella, Italy, strives to create opportunities within local communities instead of seeking them elsewhere. It emphasizes the importance of staying and contributing to one's hometown to foster growth and collaboration. This year’s edition in Messina continues this mission by promoting the value of community and the necessity of togetherness through the arts.
