About the event
From August 16th to 18th, immerse yourself in the vibrant celebration of Santa Maria della Lettera in Torre Faro. Enjoy three days of religious and cultural events, including exhibitions, maritime art installations, and musical parades.
On Friday and Saturday, August 16th and 17th, from 20:00 to 24:00, visit the exhibition "La devozione alla Madonna della Lettera" in the Parish House Hall and "The Art of Fishing in Torre Faro" installations in front of the Parish House.
On Saturday, August 17th, with "Luce di Maria: A Night Journey Through Art and Faith," you can enjoy the arrival of the boat procession, stop in front of the church, and blessing at 21:00, followed by the Night Parade of Bands starting at 21:30 (Fiumedinisi Musical Association and A.P.S.G. Verdi Band of Faro Superiore), and a musical event in the church from 23:00.
On Sunday, August 18th, the grand procession at 19:30, followed by the raffle drawing upon the procession's return and a spectacular fireworks show at 24:00.
